Interested in exploring military records this Veteran’s Day weekend? Well Fold3 is making their collections available free of charge from now through November 20th. So take a look at the records of the ancestors with their wonderful collections.

Have you heard about the National Day of Listening? This is a wonderful way to join thousands of other families to capture their oral history. One of the partners is LowCounty Africa and you can also win a Craig Digital Recorder. Take a look, participate in the effort to win a recorder and talk to the elders. Perhaps it will be a brand new tradition you have started in the family!

Thanks for listening. Take some time out to talk, write, and explore the family history and perhaps this time you can record some history from the elders.

In the meantime:
Keep researching, keep documenting and keep sharing what you find.
